People who were deported were SEEN and HEARD on Capitol Hill

On June 11, the Ohio Immigrant Alliance and Center for Law and Social Policy hosted a forum on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC and delivered copies of “Broken Hope” to congressional offices. Jasmine and Sara Hamdi; Omar Toumbou and Amadou Ly, and Demba Ndiath talked about their loved ones were deported to Africa, "life" after deportation, and why they need the Biden administration and Congress to help people who were deported come home.
